For the month of August 2013, the BIR collected Php118.11billion in tax revenues, Php21.35 Billion or 22.07% more than collections made in August 2012. The BIR significantly achieved its goal, missing its goal set for August 2013 of PhP118.48 Billion by a mere PhP 372 million or 0.31%. The shortfall resulted from non-BIR operations missing its revenue goal which was set at PhP 3.06 billion – where actual collections amounted to PhP 1.91 Billion, or PhP 1.15 Billion or 37.5% short of said goal.
For August 2013, collections from BIR operations amounted to Php116.2 Billion, PhP 775 Million or 0.67% more than its collection goal of PhP 115.42 Billion. Or, Php21.26 Billion or 22.39% more than collections made in August 2013. Collections from non-BIR operations amounted to Php1.91 Billion, Php98.2 Million or5.41% more than the collections made in August 2012.
Collections by the Regional Offices amounted to PhP38.73 Billion, or Php8.05 Billion or 26.23% more than the collections made in August2012. While collections by the Large Taxpayers Service amounted to PhP77.47 Billion,PhP 409 million or 0.53% more than its collection goal of PhP 77.06 Billion. Or PhP13.21 Billion or 20.55% more than the collections made in August 2012.
