For the month of October 2013, the BIR collected Php95.59billion in tax revenues, Php9.48 Billion or 11.01% more than collections made in October 2012.

For October 2013, collections from BIR operations amounted to Php93.22 Billion, PhP10.27 Billion or 12.38%more than collections made in October 2013. Collections from non-BIR operations amounted to Php2.37 Billion, Php784 Million or24.88% less than the collections made in October 2012.

Collections by the Regional Offices amounted to PhP34.40 Billion, or Php 1.55 Billion or 4.71% more than the collections made in October2012. While collections by the Large Taxpayers Service amounted to PhP58.82 Billion,PhP8.72 billion or 17.41% more than the collections made in October 2012.

One of the reasons for the shortfall is due tax resulting from the sale of the property of the Food Terminal Inc. which occurred 2012, resulting in the collection of one-time tax collection in 2012 in the amount of approximately PhP 4 billion.

The target for the month of Octover is PhP100,065,786.00
