For the month of April 2012, the BIR collected Php 116.22 billion in tax revenues, Php 12.83 Billion or 12.41% more than the collection made in April of 2011. Year to date, total collection of the Bureau for the first four months of 2012 increased by 13.97% over the collection for the same period of 2011.

Collection by the Regional Offices in April 2012 amounted to PhP 39.18 Billion, or 6.58 Billion or 20.18% more than the collection made in April of 2011. While collection by the Large Taxpayer Service amounted to PhP 74.25 Billion, PhP 5.36 Billion or 7.77% more than the collection made in April 2011.

The BIR’s collection target for the month of April 2012 is P122.8 billion.
